Humber Springs Speedway Track Facts
Humber Springs Speedway was located on Highway #9, five minutes East of Orangeville at the 5th Line East. This racing facility originally opened in the early 195o’s as a high banked 1/4 mile dirt oval. Apparently even the straightaways had a slight bank to them.
Humber Springs Speedway was paved for the 1953 racing season and in a few short years the track was closed.
This racing facility stood silent for a couple of years when it was purchased and repurposed as a fish hatchery. Yes, there were a few ponds around the property and the new owners lined the track, filled it with water and stocked their man-made-pond.
