Brighton Speedway action on the paved oval back in 1969.
Brighton Speedway was paved mid season in 1968. Two and a half years later the 1/4 mile paved oval closed due to lack of interest by the racing community in general. (Brighton Speedway first opened in 1967 as a 1/4 mile dirt track which was much more popular with the locals).
