South Buxton Raceway Track Facts:
South Buxton opened in 1971 as Raceland Speedway. This racing facility is a 3/8 mile clay oval. The track has gone through a few names over the years, Raleigh Raceway Park, South Buxton Speedway and now Southern Ontario Motor Speedway. The new owners have totally revamped the original track. It is no longer a tri-oval, they have removed the dogleg and made it an oval.
